Planted in the orchard in 2002 this dessert apple is related to the Cox’s Orange Pippin, with green striped with red skin and the same firm, richly flavoured flesh. Discovered at Kingston Bagpuize in 1953. Like Cox’s Pippin it needs care to crop well and dislikes wet climates. Ripens mid season in early September.
