Planted in the orchard around 2009 this is a medium sized dessert apple raised by F. W. Wastie in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, from a cross between Allington Pippin and Golden Spire in 1922. It is a round to oblong apple with pale greenish yellow background and a dusting of crimson which has a fresh, crisp, tangy flavour. It ripens around mid September and stores until November.
