ORLEANS REINETTE

One of the first trees to be planted in this orchard in 1994 the Orleans Reinette is an old variety which originated in France and was introduced in 1776. A superb dessert and cider apple with a russet webbing. Crisp, yellow flesh with rich, nutty and aromatic flavour. The tree are hardy so suitable for growing in the North. The fruit skin is yellow, slightly russet and red in full sun. Ripens in early October and can keep till January in the right conditions.
